Rebecca Romijn was a model prior to becoming an actor. She is most famous because of her portrayal as "Mystique," the lead character in the opening segment of X-Men. Romijn also appeared in another Marvel film about superheroes "The Punisher.' She played the character of Joan. Romijn began her modelling career when she was sixteen. Her modeling career has taken off since then. She's posed for major companies including Christian Dior Sports Illustrated and Victoria's Secret.
